Supersoil is a highly concentrated dissolvable powder. Every 1kg of Supersoil is the equivalent of 20 tons of regular organic matter such as compost that has been quantum compressed and it can get sticky if not handled properly.
While some apply the Supersoil powder directly to a sprayer full of water we highly recommend first mixing it into a bucket of water to form a syrup and then adding it to a sprayer full of water. This avoids any risk of the powder clumping and caking. Please do not add the powder to an empty dry sprayer as it can cake just like adding cement powder to a mixer before adding water.
Standard sprayer nozzles are perfectly fine - no special nozzles are required.
The recommended dilution rate is 1 KG of Supersoil to 250 Litres of water.
The recommended dosage rate is 1 KG of Supersoil per 1 Hectare ( 2.5 acres ).
You can apply Supersoil at higher rate than 1 KG to 1 Hectare if you wish as you cannot overdose the product. You can also dilute with even more water than 1 Kg to 250 litres of water if you prefer as the water is just a carrier.
For best results please spray Supersoil as close to the soil as you can and apply as early as possible. You can even apply Supersoil to bare soil before seeds are planted as the microbes will enrich the soil with nitrogen and boost germination rates as well as help accelerate plant growth.
One annual application is usually enough for most however you can apply as often as you like.
Please note that water companies put chlorine into tap water to kill bacteria and the chlorine levels vary quite dramatically from region to region. Since Supersoil contains trillions of nitrogen fixing bacteria we recommend you avoid using tap water that contains chlorine where possible as it may kill some of the microbes.
Supersoil is 100% organic and non-toxic and you don’t have to keep your animals off the land while spraying. You can spray Supersoil when they’re on the land.
This really depends on both growing conditions and the state of the soil.
In controlled indoor lab conditions faster seed germination and plant growth is often visible within a week or two. In outdoor growing conditions results are usually visible within a few weeks once conditions are favourable while in very unfavourable conditions growth will be slower.
Another key growth factor is how much organic matter is already in the soil as this determines its natural strength. If soil is chronically low in organic matter its not just sick, its dying. Supersoil is like a soil medicine and obviously requires more time to heal a dying patient than a sick one. Thankfully Supersoil contains both health promoting soil microbes and a very highly concentrated dose of organic matter to help your soil heal. Every 1kg of Supersoil contains trillions of beneficial soil microbes and the equivalent of 20 tons of regular organic matter such as compost that has been quantum compressed.
Supersoil is a highly concentrated powder thats mixed with water and sprayed on. It must reach the soil in order to work so its essential that Supersoil is applied as close to the soil as possible.
The earlier that Supersoil is applied the faster the microbes can get to work. Its even perfectly fine to apply Supersoil to bare soil or compost before a crop has been planted as the microbes will be working away to enrich the soil for the seed and this will dramatically improve germination and tillering.
When incorporating Supersoil into your garden, the recommended ratio is to mix one teaspoon of Supersoil into 1 gallon of water, or 4 litres of water This solution should then be evenly applied to your garden. This dilution ensures that the nutrients in the Supersoil are adequately dispersed throughout your garden soil, promoting healthy plant growth.
If the bag of Supersoil remains unopened, it can last indefinitely, ensuring its longevity for future use. However, once the bag has been opened, it's crucial to reseal it properly to prevent air or moisture from entering. By resealing the opened bag, you can preserve the Supersoil until the next gardening season, ensuring that it remains in good condition and ready to nourish your garden when you need it.
Supersoil can be used in conjunction with chemicals, this will allow you to reduce your spend on chemicals and help to restore the natural fertility of your soil.
We would recommend applying half your usual rate of traditional fertiliser along with Supersoil initially so you can restore your soil without the risk of reducing yield.
No, we would recommend that you leave a 3 week window between spraying pesticides and herbicides and Supersoil so they don’t kill the microbes.
